Dog Event Mini Shoots

If you find yourself with some spare time on your hands, and would like a more personalized photography experience with some quality keep sake images, then why not take advantage of the Mini Shoot.
The Mini Shoot is a great opportunity to get some beautiful portrait photos of your beloved four-legged companions while you have some down time. It will only take about 20 - 30 minutes to capture some quality images of your companions.

The Bite Sized Package

The bite sized package is a nice, easy little package that consists of 3 fully edited images as your end result.
It's great if you're looking for just a handful of fresh new photos!

Wanting an Additional Image?
Or two? There are two different options for you to choose from:
- As part of purchasing an event mini shoot package, you will be able to purchase an additional fully edited photo for a discounted price of $12.00 each.
- If there are any additional photos that you would like but are happy with just a very basic light touch up correction editing (similar to what is seen on my Facebook Album upload photos), then this will be a discounted price of $7.00 per additional photo.
Standard "On Location" Around Waikato/Auckland Packages
The Standard "on Location" photoshoot packages are for those who can't quite make an sports event or would prefer to do a specific location shoot with their dogs!

How many pictures will we receive in a mini shoot?
This will be dependent on which package you have selected within each of the categories. For the more popular event packages, you will receive a standard of 3 photos or 6 photos, with the option to add additional photos for an extra cost.
What do you mean by "Edited Photo"?
When referring to a fully edited photo, this means that the photo has undergone the full post shoot process, which involves your basic light corrections and touch ups followed by a more in depth, deep dive into any distraction removal, gradient application, etc. The full edit is supposed to have a bit more of an artistic appeal, particularly if the photo is a portrait of your pet.
Can You Remove Leashes?
Yes. Leashes can be removed using Photoshop. The removal of the leashes will usually be on the photos that will be used as the higher quality edited images and will be counted as one of the "artistic editing" images.
Can I choose Which Photos I get?
100% Yes! Once the photos have been uploaded to my computer, I will begin the process of culling the ones that just don't make the cut. Once I have finished this and done a very basic correction/light edit on them, I will upload them all into a collection for you to choose from. Once you have made your choice, you will receive a link that will allow you to download your photos.
How do the agility photos work?
During the event, if I am not doing a Mini-Shoot, I may sit ringside and take photos of the dogs competing in the various classes. These photos will all undergo very light editing as there are usually hundreds of them, and if you would like to purchase a photo, or 3, I will go back and do a few further touch ups on your chosen photos. They will not be as heavily processed as the photos in the mini-shoots but may still take some time to tidy up.
How will I receive my images?
Mini Shoots: Once the images have been processed, you will receive a confirmation email with a link and 4-digit download pin. You will be able to download your collection straight from the website.
Agility photos: Depending on how many images you have selected, you will receive a link that will take you to your selected image where you will be able to download it directly.
When can I expect my photos?
This is dependent on a number of factors including what the photos are (event vs mini shoot), and general life admin (e.g., my real-life 9-5 day job).
For general event photos: I will generally aim to get these to you within 48 hours; however, please understand if there is a large volume of photos being purchased by several people, or I am going through my busy period at work, this can take up to 7 days. Worst case scenario there may be a 10-day wait time, but this is only worst case scenario.
For mini shoot photos: Since these are a bit more detailed orientated and the process a bit more involved, I will generally aim to get the "corrected or unedited" photos through to you within 72 hours. Once you have selected your photos, the general ETA for this will be anywhere between an additional 3 days - 10 days (again this is dependent on the volume and my work schedule). Worst case scenario is that the photos could take up to 21 days to process (depending on external factors).
What happens if I want to have a mini shoot but won't be at the agility events?
I will also be offering mini shoots where we meet up at a mutually decided location. These will generally be on weekends when I am not at an agility event, or if I have a day off from my full-time job. These mini shoots will fall under the "On location" shoots for Auckland, and will incur an additional fee to compensate for travel expenses, time, etc.
How does payment work?
Once you have sent through your selected images and your email address, I will fire off an invoice via HNRY. This will allow you to do a direct bank transfer into my HNRY account, or you also have an option of paying via card through the invoice that HNRY sends.
Please ensure, if you are doing a direct transfer, to include your invoice number as reference so that the team can identify and match the payments.
